The Kontio Koivuranta, which includes a carport, is a building well-suited for a suburban plot, with the main entrance naturally positioned at one end of the structure.
The L-shaped layout divides the plot into a public entrance courtyard and a private, sheltered outdoor living area, allowing residents to spend time on the terrace hidden from the view of passers by. The covered terrace is accessible from both the sauna suite and the living room. Depending on the family’s needs, the design is available in three or four-bedroom versions.

Constructed using laminated Arctic pine logs that offer superior performance and longevity over other log buildings using softwoods for warmer climes. They have a dense grain structure as a result of the slow growth they experience and other properties allowing them to outperform other timber sources.
